Welcome to “Spanish and Spain culture with Angeles” by me, Angeles Fernández.
I was born and live in Spain. I have been teaching Spanish online for almost 18 years (and I still do!), something I really enjoy. Apart from helping students with their Spanish, I have also written for Bellaonline.com and worked online for Yabla.com, among others.
Until last October 2019 I had been working for 31 years for a private company, but this company is now being bought and not just me, but some other colleagues, we had to look for a new way to “pay the bills”. That’s why I am now planning to work online, doing something I really like: to teach Spanish, and write about my language, country and customs.
If you are interested in Spanish language and culture, this is the place! Hope you enjoy it. I am open to your Spanish language and culture questions and comments. I’ll be sending you not only grammar points, Spanish (free) resources on the internet or information about places to visit in Spain, its history, customs or gastronomy (yes, some delicious recipes too!), but also, and from time to time, podcasts and extra activities.
